SUPPORT FOR DIALYSIS UNITS
Knowing what a hard and relentless life it is for patients undergoing dialysis, LAKPA works hard at supporting them. Each of the units has a named LAKPA representative who is on the LAKPA Committee and is usually a patient at the unit or has had a recent transplant. They all have excellent relationships with the unit manager and can raise queries, make requests for equipment or raise other problems at LAKPA meetings where they can be monitored or escalated as required.
