Supporting research into kidney disease is something that everyone at LAKPA feels passionately about.  So, we are pleased to be able to share this research study with you that we’d love you to take part in which has been funded by Kidney Research UK. The research, which is aimed at people aged 18 and over with progressing Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) or who are receiving renal replacement therapy (including having a transplant), is exploring the experiences of patients with CKD in relation to mental wellbeing. The research team are keen to hear from those people who are under the care of any of the following hospital and dialysis units
  • Lister Hospital, Stevenage
  • Princess Alexandra Hospital, Harlow
  • St Albans City Hospital, St Albans
  • Lister Dialysis Unit including Home Therapies
  • Harlow Dialysis Unit
  • Bedford Dialysis Unit
  • Chiltern Dialysis Unit
  • St Albans Dialysis Unit
  • RITA and Acutes, Lister Hospital, Stevenage
